‘Srikanth’ earned crores on the sixth day, this is the condition of ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’

Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ has arrived as a light shower of rain at the box office. While big films like ‘Maidan’ and ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’ released on Eid also flopped badly, visually impaired Srikanth said that this biopic has succeeded in pleasing the audience. The film may be earning at a slow pace but is still maintaining a strong hold. In six days, this film has done a business of Rs 16.45 crore at the Indian box office. However, it is also facing tough competition from the Hollywood film ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’. The shows of ‘Srikanth’, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, have seen an average audience of 11% seats on Wednesday also. Whereas in night shows this number has increased to 14%. On the other hand, the number of viewers coming to watch ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ is slightly less (9.07%) than ‘Srikanth’, but this film is earning more. The reason for this is that this film has also been released in IMAX and 4DX versions, where the ticket prices are higher.

‘Srikanth’ is made with a budget of Rs 40 crores

According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Srikanth’ has made a net collection of Rs 1.50 crore on the sixth day of its release on Wednesday. A day earlier it had done a business of Rs 1.60 crore. In this way, the total collection of the film has now reached Rs 16.45 crore in the country in six days. While it has earned a gross of Rs 21.25 crore worldwide, the budget of the film is Rs 40 crore, so if it continues to grow at this pace and focuses on the weekend, then by its third weekend it will exceed the budget and start earning profit.

‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ collection

On the other hand, ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ of the ‘Planet of the Apes’ franchise has collected Rs 1.80 crore in India on the sixth day. This film has earned a total of Rs 17.30 crore in six days. Whereas worldwide this film has crossed the gross collection figure of Rs 1200 crore.

Shreyas Talpade’s ‘Kartam Bhugatam’ releasing on Friday

The condition of the box office is bad since the success of ‘Shaitan’. No film has made bumper earnings in the last two months. Yes, meanwhile, small budget films have definitely earned the profit tag and got the hit tag, but the wait for huge earnings is getting longer. Only one film ‘Karma Bhugatam’ is being released on coming Friday, 17th May. This is Shreyas Talpade’s film, which is not expected to earn much.
