Spice Jet’s Haj flight will fly from 5 cities, first flight leaves for Madina


SpiceJet: There is a good news for the pilgrims preparing to go on Haj pilgrimage. Spice Jet is going to operate special flights from seven cities for Haj pilgrimage 2024. The first flight of Spice Jet left for Madina from Srinagar on Thursday. Spice Jet has deployed two wide body A-340 aircraft with a capacity of 324 passengers this year for Haj pilgrims.

According to Spice Jet Airlines, this year the airline is going to operate flights for Haj not only from Srinagar but also from seven other cities. The seven cities from where Spice Jet is going to operate special flights include Guwahati, Gaya, Bhopal, Indore, Aurangabad and Viyawada. Apart from Srinagar, the airlines have also deployed A-340 aircraft in Guwahati.

When and how long will the Haj special operations take place?
According to Spice Jet, Haj special flights are being operated from Srinagar, Gaya, Guwahati, Bhopal, Indore, Aurangabad and Vijayawada. Haj special flights will be operated from all these cities to Medina between May 9 and May 31. Whereas return flights from Jeddah will be available between June 22 and June 22. This year, Spice Jet will operate a total of 102 Haj flights for 13800 Haj pilgrims.

Spice Jet had earned Rs 337 crore
According to Spice Jet, in addition to the A-340 aircraft, the airline has also deployed Boeing 737 Max aircraft for Haj operations. Talking about last year, airlines had earned around Rs 337 crore through Haj operations. According to Debashish Saha, Vice President, Spice Jet, the airline’s endeavor is to ensure a hassle-free and enjoyable pilgrimage for Haj pilgrims.
