Rajkummar Rao’s ‘Srikanth’ made a huge jump on Sunday, ‘Kartam Bhugatam’ earning double

Rajkumar Rao starrer film ‘Srikanth’ has definitely won the hearts of the audience, but its impact at the box office has not been much visible. However, there has been a huge jump in the earnings of this film on its second Sunday, which is the biggest figure after the first weekend earnings. The film ‘Srikanth’ is the story of a visually impaired boy, in whose path his physical disability could never become an obstacle. Srikanth, who has a brain many times sharper than a normal child, may not be able to see, but his brain is sharper than a computer. This is the real story of none other than businessman Shrikant Bola, who not only changed the education system but also became an example for many. Rajkumar Rao has touched the hearts of people closely in the character of Srikant Bola. Apart from this, the condition of the new film ‘Kartam Bhugatam’ is bad since the first day.

Apart from Alaya F, Sharad Kelkar, the film also stars Jyothika, who is seen in the role of his teacher and Rajkumar i.e. Srikanth calls her Yashoda Maa. Talking about the film’s earnings on the second Sunday, it has made a huge jump on the 10th day. The film ‘Srikanth’, made with a budget of around Rs 40-50 crores, has now crossed the figure of Rs 25 crores. This film will have to work harder to recover its costs.

According to the report of sacnilk, this film has earned Rs 3.75 crore on the 10th day, which is the highest compared to the earning from first Monday to second Saturday. Overall, the film has earned around Rs 25.85 crore at the Indian box office.

Worldwide ‘Srikanth’ crosses Rs 32 crores

Talking about the worldwide collection of this film, it has crossed the figure of Rs 32 crores. The film has earned around Rs 32.30 crore worldwide. At the same time, this film has not got any special response abroad and it has collected only about Rs 2.30 crores in so many days.

‘Kartam Bhugatam’ seems to be proving to be a flop

Apart from this, writer-director Soham P Shah’s new film ‘Kartam Bhugatam’, released this weekend, is the story of escaping from the clutches of hypocritical astrologers and not getting trapped in superstition. Shreyas Talpade is seen in the lead role in this film, made with a budget of around Rs 8 crore, but the film seems to be a huge flop.

‘Kartam Bhugatam’ has earned only Rs 74 lakh so far

According to the figures given in the report of sacnilk, while this film had collected only Rs 16 lakh on the first day, on the third day it has earned double the collection i.e. Rs 32 lakh. Overall, the film has collected only Rs 74 lakh in three days.
