Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reacted on Swati Maliwal assault case, said this about Kejriwal


New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has reacted to the assault on Aam Aadmi Party MP Swati Maliwal. He expressed confidence that Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal will thoroughly investigate the issue raised by Swati Maliwal and also ensure a satisfactory resolution of the matter. Vadra said that she has always stood in support of women, irrespective of their political affiliation. In circumstances when they have faced any kind of abuse or injustice.

Swati Maliwal has accused Kejriwal’s PA Vibhav Kumar of assault and indecency. AAP MP has also lodged a complaint against Vibhav in Delhi Police. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on this matter that she has been emphasizing her unwavering support towards women. He said that if there is any kind of atrocities against women anywhere or any wrong or unfair treatment is done to them, then in that situation you will find us standing in their support. I always stand with women, no matter which party they belong to.

When asked whether she would directly communicate with Swati Maliwal, Priyanka Vadra said that Maliwal is in another party, but if she wants to talk to me, I will talk to her. Vadra expressed confidence that Kejriwal will conduct a proper investigation and take the necessary decision in Maliwal’s case based on the information available.
