Indian official meets Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Haj Minister, discusses logistics arrangements for pilgrims


Secretary (Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs) Muktesh K Pardeshi reviewed the preparations for Haj 2024 in Jeddah and Madinah.

“Both sides discussed strengthening the institutional framework of relations and enhancing ties in various areas including trade, security, energy and cultural exchanges. Both sides exchanged views on the regional and international situation.

During his visit, Pardeshi reviewed the well-being of the 24 lakh Indian community living in Saudi Arabia. He appreciated the leadership of Saudi Arabia for its efforts to ensure the welfare of the Indian community.

Muktesh K Pardeshi interacted with the vibrant community in both Jeddah and Riyadh.
