Bengaluru. India will host the South Africa women’s team for one Test, three ODIs and three T20 matches in June and July. ODI and T20 matches will be played in Bengaluru. The test match will be played in Chennai. The ODI matches will be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from June 16. The test match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from 28th June. After this both the teams will return to Bengaluru for the T20 series. T20 matches will be played on July 5, 7 and 9.
Women’s T20 World Cup will be played in Bangladesh in September-October this year. Due to this, the importance of India-South Africa T20 series has increased. Indian women’s cricket team is on Bangladesh tour these days. The Indian team, playing under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, has won the first three T20 matches against Bangladesh. The fourth T20 match will be played on 6 May.

The ODI and T20 series between India and South Africa was to be played at the end of last year. But the ICC Men’s World Cup was also played in India in October-November last year. For this reason the series of women’s teams was postponed. Now a test match has also been included in the limited overs series.
India played one Test each against England and Australia in Mumbai in December last year. India defeated England by 347 runs and Australia by eight wickets in women’s test cricket.
