Do not plan your Mussoorie trip in these two days! The whole day will pass in traffic jam

Hina Azmi/ Dehradun. These days, people from places like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR are coming to visit Dehradun. Tourists especially come to visit the “Queen of Hills” Mussoorie during summer holidays, but this time even before the holidays, due to the rise in temperature in the plains, the number of tourists in Mussoorie is increasing. Tourist spots like Kempty Fall, Company Garden and Bhatta Fall etc. of Mussoorie are seen buzzing with tourists.

If you are also planning to explore Mussoorie in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, then wait for a while because you may face problems here. In fact, if you are going to Mussoorie on weekends i.e. on Saturday and Sunday, then vehicles do not move on Mussoorie Road but crawl and those who come here spend more time stuck in traffic jams than roaming around.

hours wasted in traffic jams
Tourist Shadab Zaidi, who came to visit Mussoorie, says that he is a resident of NCR Delhi who has come to visit Mussoorie with his family. Troubled by the heat, they wanted to visit a hill station, that is why they had planned a trip on weekends. He told that the vehicle was moving very slowly and there was no other way. Somehow we reached Mussoorie after passing through the mountains and when we reached Library Chowk there was a lot of traffic jam.

People should follow traffic rules
Shadab Zaidi says that people were driving vehicles by breaking the traffic rules badly, due to which other people were also facing problems. People should follow traffic rules so that they do not create problems for others. He said that we could visit only two tourist places whereas we wanted to visit many places in Mussoorie. Most of his time was wasted due to traffic jams.

This is the police plan
Giving information, City Kotwal Arvind Choudhary said that due to the increasing heat these days, tourists are reaching Mussoorie in large numbers, police personnel have been deployed at every intersection so that the traffic can run smoothly. These soldiers are deployed at more places on Saturday-Sunday so that tourists do not face any problem.
