CUET 2024: Confusion on the first day, students kept wandering for CUET

CUET & Exam News: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG), the entrance examination for admission to 261 universities of the country including Delhi University, JNU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University, started from Wednesday in the entire country except Delhi. The exam will start in Delhi on 16th May. But while some students got lost after reaching the Delhi centre, there was confusion at the Faridabad center due to postponement of the papers of Delhi students.
Actually, the students who had filled their first choice as Delhi and in the exam city slip also the exam city of the students was shown as Delhi, but in the admit card, those students were allotted Faridabad centre. The paper of those students was postponed.

CUET UG: 44.7% exam covered on first day

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), 44.7 percent of the exam has been covered on the first day. NTA has released the revised admit cards for the students appearing for the exam in Delhi on its website. However, confusion remained regarding the admit card.

In fact, while issuing a public notice on Tuesday regarding the postponement of the May 15 exam in Delhi, NTA had said that admit cards will be issued afresh for the exam to be held on May 16 to 18. But till late night, students continued to face problems in downloading the admit card on the NTA website. The centers of many students were changed in the revised admit card. NTA has asked students to see only the revised admit card for the offline exam of May 16-18.

CUET Hall Ticket CBT: Separate Admit Card

NTA says that the examination is to be held in offline i.e. pen and paper mode on 16, 17, 18 May, for which revised admit cards have been issued. After that, the paper will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on May 21, 22 and 24, for which a separate admit card will be issued. Students whose subjects fall in CBT mode will have to download the exam city slip and CUET Admit Card CBT afresh.
