CSK has kept alive its hopes of reaching the playoffs by defeating Rajasthan. Chennai defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets in the match played at their home in Chepauk. This is CSK’s 50th win on Chepauk ground. Chennai Super Kings has played 13 matches in which it has won 7 while it has faced defeat in 6 matches. With 14 points, Chennai has moved from fourth to third position. Sunrisers Hyderabad today slipped from third to fourth place in the points table without playing any match. CSK can stake their claim for playoffs with 16 points by winning their remaining one match.
