New Delhi. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) strengthened their hopes of reaching the playoffs by defeating Punjab Kings by 28 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL) T20 match on Sunday. CSK tasted victory after five consecutive defeats against Punjab. After being invited to bat first, CSK scored 167 runs for 9 wickets and then avenged the defeat against the team 4 days ago by restricting Punjab’s innings to 139 runs for 9 wickets.
