Will NEET result be released after re-exam? Know the big decision of SC

NEET Paper Leak 2024: NEET UG 2024 exam was held on May 5. There are also allegations of paper leak in the exam. After which the students filed a petition in the Supreme Court. It was said in the petition that the result should be released after re-examination. But now the Supreme Court has refused to stop the declaration of NEET results. The top court was hearing a petition to re-conduct the examination following allegations of question paper leak.

Supreme Court sought reply on the petition
A bench of Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra said that they cannot withhold the results of the All India Examination. However, the bench has issued a notice to the Central Government and also sought its response on the petition. The court said, “We will now hear the matter after the summer vacation. But we cannot stay the results of the All India Examination.”

Vanshika Yadav had filed a petition
Vanshika Yadav has filed a petition in the case through lawyer Sunny Kadian. The petition said that there were reports of paper leak during the NEET UG 2024 examination in Rajasthan. This claim has also been made in many dailies. The petition states that the solved answers to the question had already gone viral outside. Due to which misconceptions have arisen among the students.

“More cases of paper leak were witnessed in Patna, Bihar, where several persons have been arrested by the state police on credible information that they had received question papers a day before the said examination,” the plea alleged.
