WI vs ENG: England’s dashing batsman wreaked havoc, played a brilliant innings to help the team win

New Delhi. The second match of the Super 8 of T20 World Cup 2024 was played between West Indies and England. England registered a spectacular victory in this match. After winning the toss, England decided to bowl first which proved to be effective for them. Batting first, West Indies scored 180 runs in 20 overs. While chasing, the England team chased this score in just 17.3 overs. Philip Salt played a brilliant innings of 87 runs for England.

West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first which backfired on them. Brandon King, who came to open for England, was batting well. But he/she retired hurt after playing 23 balls. he/she could score only 23 runs. Johnson Charles, who came with him/her, scored the highest 38 runs.
