Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 release date

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ ended with a title card announcing the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ cinematic universe and another card read, ‘To be continued…’ Let us tell you that while talking to Prabhas on Instagram Live, Nag Ashwin had claimed that the second part of the film will take three years to complete. Producer Ashwini Dutt had said in a press conference that 60 percent of the shooting has been completed. Shooting of an important part is yet to be done and the release date has not been decided yet.

Supreme Yaskin will have an important role

Kamal Haasan received good response despite his/her less screen time in the film, but the ending of the film made it clear that the character will have a bigger role in Part 2. At a press meet in Chennai, he/she had said, “In Kalki, I played a small character, who appears for just a few minutes. My real involvement in the film has just begun, and in the sequel, my role will be much bigger. So I watched this film as a fan and I was surprised.”

Will some characters return in the sequel?

Dulquer Salmaan had a cameo in the film, but it was such an important role that fans are wondering if his/her character will be brought back. Dulquer is playing the role of Captain and the buzz grew when, out of all the cameos, the film’s team shared a poster of him/her which read, ‘Introducing our very own Dulquer Salmaan as Captain in the Kalki Cinematic Universe.’ The poster fuelled speculations that he/she will also be a part of the sequel, but many also thought that he/she is Parashurama.
