Leave aside mobile phones and ACs, here you will not even see fans and bulbs installed in anyone’s house. Even an old fashioned string fan is used to provide air to Bihari ji.

The seventh Acharya, Swami Lalit Kishori Dev Ji, decided to leave Nidhivan to meditate sitting under a deserted tree. Bamboo poles were used to surround the entire area to protect the place from poachers and guards. Bamboo sticks are called “tatiya” in the local language. In this way this village was named Tatiya.

This is a place where saints and sages remain detached from the world and remain engrossed in the worship of Bihari ji. He has no attachment to the outside world. After coming here you will feel exactly the same.

Tatiya village is full of different types of trees and plants. Every tree here is dedicated to the gods. Neem, Peepal and Kadamba trees are present in abundance here. All trees and plants are very special. It is believed that the name Radha is seen embossed on the leaves here also.

Tatiya village is associated with the Haridas sect. Swami Haridas ji was a devotee of Bihari ji. He claimed that he had learned the lessons of love and divine music from the fruits, trees and birds of Vrindavan. Every morning after taking bath in river Yamuna, Swamiji used to reach Nidhivan for prayers and meditate on Radha Krishna.

It is natural to have Aarti at such a spiritual place. But you will be surprised to hear that devotees here do not perform puja or aarti. Instead, events are held here. People sit and sing bhajans to please Radha Krishna. It is said that during the bhajan, he himself feels the presence of Bihari ji and Radha Rani here.

You will be stunned to see the lifestyle of the saints here. The sadhus here still drink water from the well. Utmost care is taken of cleanliness here. The best thing is that the saints here do not take any kind of charity or Dakshina. Nor will you find a donation box kept anywhere in this entire place. There is a ban on the devotees coming here from bringing mobile phones. Coming here you cannot use any modern thing or device. Women are allowed to enter here only with their heads covered.
