UP Police Constable Exam 2024: Uttar Pradesh’s biggest recruitment exam is being conducted from 24th August. The exam is being conducted for more than 60 thousand posts of UP Police Constable in two shifts for a total of 5 days. About 50 lakh applications have been received to become a constable in UP. Seeing such a large number, the candidates will be scared that how can they ensure their selection in such a crowd. But in reality, the competition level seems to be decreasing due to the UP Police Constable re-exam.

The paper of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023 was first taken in February 2024 but it was canceled due to paper leak. At the same time, now the examinations are being conducted again in August. In which candidates from many states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana are appearing in the examination. But still this time the UP Police competition is likely to be less because lakhs of candidates are leaving the exam.

Only three UP Police Constable exams have been held so far, on 23, 24 and 25 August, in which a large number of candidates were absent. According to the official data of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), 11 percent of the candidates skipped the exam on the first day i.e. 23 August. If we look at the numbers, these are 1.71 lakh candidates. On the second day i.e. 24 August, 3 lakh candidates did not appear for the UP Constable Recruitment Exam.

A total of 9,63,671 candidates were supposed to appear for the exam on 25th August, the third day. Out of which only 6,78,767 candidates appeared for the exam. That means 2 lakh, 84 thousand candidates skipped their exam. If we look at the total figures of these three days, more than 6 lakh candidates have skipped the exam so far. However, there are still two more days of exam left.
