U19 Asia Cup: Bangladesh won brilliantly, Sri Lanka defeated Nepal, when will India compete?

New Delhi. Under 19 Asia Cup 2024 has started. The first match was played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Bangladesh won this match by a brilliant 45 runs. Whereas, the second match was played between Sri Lanka and Nepal (Sri Lanka vs Nepal). Sri Lanka registered a spectacular 55 wins in this match. After the spectacular victory, both the teams have 2-2 points in their account.

In the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bowl first, which proved costly for them. Batting first, Bangladesh team scored 228 runs and gave the target of 229 runs to the opposite team. While chasing, Afghanistan team was all out at 183 and lost the match. Azizul Hakim played a century innings for Bangladesh.

Whereas, in the match between Sri Lanka and Nepal, Nepal won the toss and decided to bowl first. Once again the team bowling first lost. Batting first, Sri Lankan team scored 223 runs in 50 overs and gave Nepal a target of 224 runs. While chasing, Nepal team was all out at 178 and lost the match.

India Pakistan match on 30th November
Two matches will be played in the Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 on 30 November. The match between India and Pakistan will start at 10:30 am. Whereas, the second match will be played between UAE and Japan. It remains to be seen which of the four teams wins. The captaincy of the Indian team will be in the hands of Mohammad Aman.
