Rain alert in these areas today

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha. Heavy rain is possible at many places in Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh. Moderate rain may occur at one or two places in Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal. Anyway, monsoon is very active in many parts of the country. Due to this, the rain does not seem to stop.

The rain may stop in Delhi from today

Various parts of the national capital received heavy rains on Friday afternoon. Even after this, the weather department has predicted more rain due to cloudy weather. During this time, heavy rains occurred in the central and southern parts of Delhi. Even today, a ‘yellow alert’ has been issued for rain in many areas. This means that light to moderate rain is expected in some areas today. However, the rain may stop after today. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.4 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below normal. Delhi will generally remain cloudy during the day. In such a situation, the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded around 30 degrees Celsius.

Situation bad due to rain in Himachal Pradesh, 31 roads closed

Due to the ongoing rain in many parts of Himachal Pradesh, traffic has been stopped on a total of 31 roads. Transportation will remain closed on these roads. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of moderate flood danger in some parts of Shimla and Sirmaur districts till Saturday. Even today, there is an alert of light to moderate rain in some parts of the state. According to SEOC, a maximum of 10 roads are closed in Kangra, seven in Mandi, five in Sirmaur district, four in Shimla, three in Kullu and one each in Kinnaur and Bilaspur districts. In such a situation, if you are leaving home, then plan only after looking at the weather conditions.

Situation worsened due to rain in Uttarakhand, schools closed

Most areas of Uttarakhand are in a bad condition due to heavy rains on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, waterlogging occurred in many areas of Udham Singh Nagar district in Kumaon region due to heavy rains. About two and a half hundred people had to be evacuated from their houses and taken to safer places. Even today, the Meteorological Department has issued a ‘red alert’ regarding rain. In view of this, schools were closed across the state on Friday. In view of the heavy rain alert, orders have been given to keep schools closed in Champawat district on Saturday as well. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the State Operations Center and took information about the rain in various areas of the state and instructed the officials to remain alert.

Heavy rain in many districts of UP including Lucknow

More than 51 of the 75 districts of the state recorded heavy rainfall.

People can get relief from rain in Rajasthan

According to the Meteorological Department, rain with thundershowers is forecast at some places in western Rajasthan and some places in eastern Rajasthan in the next 24 hours. During this time, there may be rain at some places in Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Kota, Jhalawar and Baran districts. Light to moderate rain is likely at sporadic places during September 14 to 17.
