Today’s weather 14 November 2024: The weather patterns have changed in many states across the country including Delhi-NCR. Cold and fog have entered the states of North India. Snowfall continues on the mountains. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of fog and mist in the states of North India even today. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted more rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh in the coming days. Know what the weather will be like today.

Coldest day of the season in Delhi

For the first time this season (IMD Weather Update), dense fog was observed in the capital Delhi on Wednesday and the lowest maximum temperature of the season was recorded so far. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of fog in Delhi-NCR even today. Along with this, there is a possibility of wind speed less than six kilometers per hour in the morning. IMD also said that there is a possibility of smog or dense fog in the morning. In the afternoon the wind speed from the north-west will increase to less than 10 km per hour, while in the evening and night the wind speed from the same direction will decrease to less than eight km per hour.

Weather patterns will change in these states also

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall was recorded in Sirkali and Kolai Dam of Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours. It also rained in Gudur in Puducherry and Rayal border. Dense fog prevailed in Delhi, Punjab, Western Rajasthan and Western Uttar Pradesh. Dense fog was also seen in some areas of Haryana. At the same time, the low pressure area over North Tamil Nadu and adjacent Bay of Bengal has now weakened. Another cyclonic circulation remains over Bangladesh. A Western Disturbance will start affecting the Himalayan region, Jammu and Kashmir from tonight.

Rain alert in these states

Due to all these weather conditions, Tamil Nadu is likely to receive heavy rains till November 19. Heavy rain is likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 18, Kerala till November 19 and South Interior Karnataka on November 18.

Fog will remain in North India

Dense fog will prevail over northwest India during night and morning hours for the next two-three days. Even today, a warning of very dense fog has been issued in Punjab. Dense fog warning has been issued for entire northwest India, including Gangetic plains, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Jharkhand. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala today.
