These changes will put a full stop on cancer, will not let tumors grow in the body, start doing them from today itself

American cancer A new study by the Society has found that lifestyle changes could prevent nearly half of all cancer cases. The study was published in CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians. Researchers said that things like quitting smoking, eating healthy, being active, using sunscreen and drinking less alcohol can significantly reduce the risk of cancer.

The study also provides data on cancer deaths in the US. Most deaths were caused by lung cancer, followed by female breast cancer, skin melanoma, colorectal cancer, liver cancer and esophageal cancer. Researchers say that if people change their lifestyle, many of these deaths can be prevented.

Control 7 risk factors

  1. Cigarette smoking and exposure to other people’s cigarette smoke
  2. overweight
  3. drinking alcohol
  4. Bad eating habits
  5. not being physically active
  6. ultraviolet radiation
  7. Infections such as HPV

Smoking is the biggest danger

stop smoking

Researchers say smoking is the biggest risk. About 20% of cancer cases and one-third of cancer deaths are linked to smoking. Cigarette smoke directly increases cancer-causing elements in the body, promotes changes in genes (mutations) and weakens immunity. This increases the risk of tumor formation and growth.

do not let the weight increase

Being overweight also increases the risk of cancer. Obesity increases the risk of colorectal, breast cancer (after menopause), and esophageal cancer. When there is excess body fat, hormones and growth factors are produced that promote inflammation and cell death. This condition favors cancer growth. For example, in breast cancer, fat tissue can increase estrogen levels, which can promote hormone-receptor-positive tumors.

Say bye bye to alcohol

Alcohol consumption also increases the risk of cancer. Drinking alcohol increases the risk of liver, mouth, throat and breast cancer. Liver cancer is directly related to alcohol consumption. Drinking too much alcohol over a long period of time can cause cirrhosis, which increases the risk of liver cancer.

Be physically active

Not being physically active also increases the risk of cancer. Regular exercise helps control hormones such as insulin and estrogen, which can promote cancer growth when in excess. Exercise supports a healthy immune system, which is important for recognizing and destroying cancer cells in the early stages.

Avoid infection

disease resistance

Infections such as HPV (human papillomavirus) also increase the risk of cancer. HPV is a common virus that spreads through skin-to-skin contact, especially during sexual activity. HPV is particularly associated with cervical cancer, where almost all cases are caused by persistent infection with high-risk types of HPV. The virus can also cause cancer of the vulva, vagina, penis, anus, and oropharynx.
