Vikrant Massey’s ’12th Fail’, released last year, surprised everyone with its earnings, albeit slowly. The interesting thing is that ‘Srikanth’ has defeated ’12th Fail’ in terms of earnings in five days. Rajkummar Rao’s film has earned 51% more than Vikrant Massey’s film in the first five days. However, it is lagging a little behind ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, released on Friday itself, but this difference is not much. According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Srikanth’ has collected Rs 14.95 crore in the country in five days. Total net collection has been done. The film has earned Rs 1.60 crore on the 5th day of Mangalore. The good thing is that a day earlier on Monday also it had done a business of only Rs 1.65 crore. That means, despite the working days, the position of the film is strong and the earnings are not decreasing much.

Made with a budget of Rs 20 crore, ’12th Fail’ did a business of Rs 56.38 crore at the Indian box office and was a super hit.
