New Delhi. This is the last chance for the Indian cricket team to save the Test series being played against New Zealand. Team India seems to be in trouble in the Pune Test. The first session i.e. 2 hours of play on the third day of the match is going to be very important. After scoring 259 runs in the first innings, the visiting team took a significant lead of 103 runs by bowling out India for 156 runs in the first innings. By the end of the second day’s play in the second innings, New Zealand had achieved a lead of 301 runs by scoring 198 runs for 5 wickets. Now on the third day, India will have to all out the Kiwis by giving less runs as soon as possible, otherwise the dream of winning the series may be shattered.

After the defeat in the Bengaluru Test match, the Indian team was expected to make a comeback in the second match against New Zealand but it did not happen. In the first innings, Kiwi team was all out for 259 runs on the basis of 7 wickets of Washington Sundar. After this the Indian team collapsed for just 156 runs. This shameful batting performance dimmed their hopes of victory. Now on the second day of the game New Zealand has a lead of more than 300 runs. This clearly means that India has lagged behind badly in the competition. It will be very difficult to return from here.
