T20 World Cup Prize Money: Rahul Dravid refuses to take extra bonus, will not get more than his/her teammates…

When this beloved son of India is on the field as a player, he/she used to put his/her heart and soul into enhancing or protecting the pride of the country. Now, the same passion is visible as a coach as well. Bringing success to others and making them stand ahead and himself going behind the scenes has also been Rahul Dravid’s specialty. Rahul, who made India world champion as a coach, is now in the news for refusing to take extra bonus.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given a prize money of Rs 125 crore to the T20 World Cup winning team. This prize money is to be divided among the players and 42 members of the coaching staff. Out of Rs 125 crore, all 15 members of the team and coach Rahul Dravid will get Rs 5 crore each. The rest of the members of the coaching staff will get a share of Rs 2.5 crore each. Vikram Rathore, Paras Mahambre, T Dilip were included in the support staff along with Rahul Dravid in the T20 World Cup.

Website Hindustan Times According to reports, Rahul Dravid has refused to take the extra bonus. Dravid wants the same prize money as the rest of his/her coaching staff. This means that Dravid has agreed to give up half of the Rs 5 crore (Rs 2.5 crore). he/she will take Rs 2.5 crore like the rest of the coaching staff.

India won the T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa on 29 June. This is India’s fourth success in the Cricket World Cup. India won the first Cricket World Cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev. After this, India became champion in 2007 and 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Talking about the T20 World Cup, this is the first time since 2007 that India has become champion in this tournament.
