It was written on Twitter from the handle of a user named Rajeev, ‘On behalf of Pant, his/her manager had approached RCB to make him/her the captain but the RCB management refused. In that fake tweet, it was also claimed that Virat Kohli does not want Pant to come to RCB. Pant has termed all these news as baseless.
