American actress and film producer Jamie Lee Curtis shared Pamela’s no makeup photo on her Instagram and wrote, ‘The natural beauty revolution has officially begun.’

Why did Pamela take such a big step?

Anderson is known for her iconic look, but after her makeup artist Alexis Vogel died of breast cancer, she decided to give up her iconic makeup look. In one of her interviews, Pamela says that

‘She was the best and from then on I felt like I was better off not wearing makeup without Alexis. It was a bit of a rebellion because I saw everybody here was wearing heavy makeup. And it was just like me going against the norm and doing the opposite of what everybody else was doing.’

Pamela is comfortable with her natural skin

During an interview, Pamela said about her skin, ‘I am very comfortable with my skin, but I am also in an industry that really focuses on beauty. And I thought, ‘I am going to challenge beauty.’ It is really commendable that where you have spent an entire life with makeup on screen, now you are leaving that makeup and moving towards natural beauty.

Pamela said ‘It is not about makeup’

In one of her interviews, Pamela said that ‘I have always felt that there is a small monster inside me which I need to bring out. I am trying and I have started feeling closest to it’ She further said that

‘It’s not just about taking off the makeup or the mask, it’s about why am I here, what is my purpose, why do I connect with people, can I help in any way?’ Recognizing your own beauty and putting yourself out there for people is part of the beauty of our personality, which Pamela is full of.

People could not recognize her without makeup

Pamela shared an incident and said, ‘I would come back from the show wearing all the clothes, a big weird hat and everything and there were all the paparazzi. Then I went inside a door and wore my jeans and T-shirt and walked out the door without any makeup.

Right in the middle of the same crowd that was chasing me and nobody noticed.’ This incident with Pamela shows that celebrities running behind facial glow have forgotten to promote their natural beauty. That is why whenever any actor or actress is captured, they are seen wearing makeup.
