New Delhi: The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections surprised big political experts. These include election strategist Prashant Kishor. he/she admitted that his/her predictions about the 2024 election results proved wrong. Prashant Kishor had claimed during the Lok Sabha elections that the BJP would repeat its 2019 performance and get around 300 seats. However, his/her predictions fell flat as the BJP got 240 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, 20 per cent less than the seats it won in the 2019 elections. The BJP managed to garner a majority thanks to its NDA allies, who took the alliance’s seat count past the magic figure of 272.

When Prashant Kishor was asked if he/she would continue to predict the number of seats in the upcoming elections in the country, Prashant Kishor said that no, I will no longer talk about the number of seats in the elections. Said to apologize for wrong prediction

Prashant Kishor admitted that making numerical projections was a mistake and vowed to refrain from doing so in future elections. he/she said that as a strategist, I should not have gone into figures. I never used to do that. In the last two years, I have made the mistake of going into figures. Once during the Bengal assembly elections and now in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
