Most attention is currently on the 100-day agenda of the government, ministers held a meeting with officials as soon as they assumed office

New Delhi: A round of discussions has started on the early implementation of the 100-day agenda for immediate steps to be taken in important departments after the formation of the new government. Union ministers have asked officials to work on the agenda of the first 100 days with full seriousness. BJP President JP Nadda took charge as Union Health Minister on Tuesday. After taking charge, Nadda interacted with Minister of State for Health Anupriya Patel and Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav along with senior officials of the Health Ministry. he/she tweeted that the Health Ministry has an important role in the progress of the country. We have to be prepared for all challenges in the health sector. India’s healthcare system is getting recognition all over the world.

Preparations to expand the scope of Ayushman Yojana
The Health Ministry is currently working rapidly towards implementing many major schemes in the country. Along with this, there is also a preparation to increase the scope of Ayushman Yojana. There is a big plan to bring people aged 70 years and above under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and it is being told that the Health Minister has also discussed this in the first meeting. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is available. Now the scope of this scheme will be expanded to bring every elderly person above the age of 70 years under the Ayushman Yojana. Every elderly person above 70 years, whether he/she is poor, middle class or from the upper middle class, will also get the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. ‘ Cheap medicines will continue to be available at Jan Aushadhi Centers with 80 percent discount, these centers will be expanded. Senior officials of the ministry including Union Health Secretary Apoorva Chandra participated in the meeting.

PM housing scheme will remain very important
Former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar issued guidelines regarding the PM Housing Scheme in his/her first meeting with officials after assuming charge as Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister. he/she said that there should be participation of common people in housing schemes. How to provide maximum benefit to common people and how to make the benefits of PM Housing Scheme reach them should be on the top agenda. The challenge of timely completion of all metro projects was also discussed because the number of people traveling in metro is continuously increasing. Smart City Mission has proved to be a milestone in urban planning. The Union Minister has also given instructions to ensure that more people get the benefit of PM Swanidhi Yojana. Construction of one crore more houses under PM Housing Scheme (Urban) is also among the major priorities of the ministry, more than 1 crore houses have already been constructed. Ministry spokesperson Rajiv Jain said that the Union Minister has also emphasized on reviewing the Housing Ministry schemes at the state level and this process will start soon.

Apart from this, Prataprao Jadhav took charge as Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Union Minister of State for Health on Tuesday. Newly appointed Ministers of State in the Ministry of Education Jayant Chaudhary and Dr. Sukanta Majumdar took charge.
