Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav’s film ‘Rang De Basanti’ has created history. For the first time, a Bhojpuri film was released pan-India and it earned a lot in just three days. Made in a budget of 10 crores, this film was released in about 250 theatres across the country. There was controversy regarding this. But it was successful in gathering crowds in theatres. Khesari Lal Yadav’s Bhojpuri film ‘Rang De Basanti’ first came into controversy when the makers blamed the censor board. The censor board ordered to remove many scenes and dialogues. That too a few days before the release. In such a situation, the makers had to bear a lot of loss. Somehow this film was released in theatres and is now earning in lakhs.
