Advance booking report of ‘Devara: Part 1’
Along with Junior NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are also in ‘Devra’. The trailer and songs of the film have received a tremendous response from the fans. Before its release, till Thursday morning, the film has made a net collection of Rs 27.95 crore in the country from advance booking. While the gross earnings are around Rs 43 crore.
‘Devra’ has got a 50-day theatrical window
Junior NTR is returning to the screen after two years of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster RRR. While after six years he/she is going to be seen in a solo hero film. Another good news for ‘Devra’ is that it has got a 50-day window in theaters. This will give it more screens. Usually a film gets a window of 28 days. In Hindi, however, till now only about Rs 76 lakh advance booking has been done for the film, but Thursday is still the whole day for pre-sales.
Advance booking crossed 60 crores worldwide
It is quite possible that after its release, ‘Devra’ will benefit from spot booking in Hindi, because the only film competing with it, ‘Stree 2’, is now 42 days old. Advance booking of ‘Devra’ in Hindi was being done in a few theatres till Wednesday, which will start completely on Thursday. Advance booking of ‘Devra’ has been done worldwide for more than 60 crores.
Budget and cast of ‘Devra’
Junior NTR is in a double role in ‘Devra’, made under the banner of Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. he/she is accompanied by Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, for whom this is the first Telugu film. Apart from this, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narayan, Kalaiyarasan and Murali Sharma are also in important roles in the film. The budget of ‘Devra: Part 1’ is Rs 300 crore.
