LU, AKTU, DSMRU… Another chance for admission in UP colleges, know course wise seats and application also

Students who missed the admission process at Lucknow University (LU), AKTU and Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University now have another chance. The application date for admission to undergraduate courses in Lucknow University has been extended once again. At the same time, the date for applying for affiliation of new colleges and courses in AKTU has been extended.

Applications have to be made online as per the college standards. Apart from this, applications for undergraduate courses in Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University (DSMRU) can now be made till 6 July.

LU Admission 2024: Up to 5 chances in UG and 17 chances in PG

LU VC Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that applications for undergraduate courses can be made till July 5. Earlier, the date of application for admission in UG and PG in Lucknow University was fixed as 31st May. After this, the date was extended to 30th June. The UG entrance exam (LU Entrance Exam 2024) will start from the pre-determined date of July 11.

LU Admission Guidelines: Choose one subject from each group

There were 11 groups in LU in the session 2024-25. Now the groups have been reduced to 8. However, conditions have been kept in selecting the subjects. Only one subject can be selected from each group. The subject allotted as major cannot be taken as minor. Statistics subject will be taken as minor only if the candidate has taken Mathematics as major. It is mandatory to take Mathematics subject along with Statistics subject.

DSMRU Admission 2024: Fill the form till 6

The last date for application for graduate courses in Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University was 30 June. VC Prof. Sanjay Singh said that now applications can be made till 6 July. At the same time, applications for graduate courses with late fee can be made till 14 July. Application can be made online by visiting the website of Rehabilitation University dsmru.up.nic.in.

College Admissions UP: How much demand for which course

At present, lateral entry has been taken in B.Tech in Rehabilitation University. There were 254 seats in lateral entry. But, only 33 candidates have applied so far.

NBT Lens: Why did the date have to be extended?

The result of UG CUET has not come yet. In such a situation, a large number of candidates are waiting for the result of CUET. Therefore, they have not applied to any other university. Sources say that CUET Result 2024 is expected soon. Therefore, after the CUET Result, the candidates who will not get a good choice can decide to take admission in DSMRU. Therefore, the university has extended the date of application in some undergraduate level courses.

AKTU Admission 2024: Application has to be done online

For the academic session 2024-25, the date of affiliation for extension of affiliation of affiliated institutions and opening of new institutions was fixed as 15th June. Many institutions had not applied as per the norms. Therefore, on the request of the institutions, AKTU had extended the date to 25th June. After this the date was extended to 30th June.

Now it has been decided to extend the date once again. Registrar Reena Singh says that colleges can now apply till July 5 to start new institutes, increase seats for admission and start new courses. If you are facing any problem, you can contact the AKTU administration.
