Libraries should be built in temples… Know why ISRO Chief S Somnath advocated this

New Delhi: ISRO Chairman S. Somnath has advocated building libraries in temples. He said such initiatives will help in bringing youth to temples where they can study, discuss various issues and pursue careers. Temples should not just be places where elders come to chant the name of God, but should become a place to bring change in the society. If the temple management works in this direction, it will bring big changes.

Why is a library not made in the temple?
He urged the temple management to work towards attracting youth towards temples. After receiving the award from former ISRO Chairman G Madhavan Nair, S Somnath said that I had expected a large number of youth to come to this award distribution ceremony, but somehow their number is very less.
