Israel: Netanyahu’s residence in Caesarea targeted in drone strike from Lebanon


The private residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was targeted in a drone strike from Lebanon this morning, The Times of Israel reported, citing the Israel PM’s office.

Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement that Netanyahu and his/her wife Sara were not home at the time of the attack and there were no reports of injuries in the incident.

Two other drones fired from Lebanon this morning were shot down by Israel’s air defense, setting off sirens in Tel Aviv, The Times of Israel reports.

Meanwhile, sirens began sounding again in several northern communities in the Haifa Bay area, warning of a rocket attack coming from Lebanon.

The latest alerts could be heard in cities and towns including Haifa Bay, Kfar HaMakabi, Usha, Kiryat Yam, Kfar Bialik, Kiryat Motzkin, Kiryat Atta, Kiryat Bialik, Ramat Yochana, Shafaram, Tamra, Kiryat Haim, Kiryat Shmuel and Nesher. The Times of Israel reported.

Amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the people of Gaza on Friday, saying that the war could end tomorrow if Hamas agrees to lay down its arms and return hostages. .
