India’s first all-in-one payment device launched

Fintech company BharatPe on Tuesday launched India’s first all-in-one payments product that combines POS (Point of Sale), QR and speaker in a single device.

The product, called BharatPe One, is designed to streamline transactions for merchants, offering versatile payment acceptance options including dynamic and static QR codes, tap-and-pay, and traditional card payment options.

The company plans to launch the product in over 100 cities in the first phase and expand it to over 450 cities in the next six months.

“By combining multiple functionalities in one cost-effective device, we are providing a comprehensive solution to suit the diverse needs of small and medium businesses across sectors,” BharatPe CEO Nalin Negi said in a statement.

According to the company, the device provides a seamless and hassle-free experience for both merchants and customers.

It is equipped with a high-definition touchscreen display, 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity and is powered by the latest Android operating system. The company said, it provides better performance and security.

Chief Business Officer Rijish Raghavan said, “We have received an overwhelming response from our merchants in the pilot phase and we believe this will be another game changer for the digital payments ecosystem, underscoring our position as a leader in the fintech industry.
