India achieved a hat-trick of wins, got entry into Super 8, Surya-Shivam Dubey shone

New Delhi. The Indian cricket team defeated America and completed a hat-trick of victories in the T20 World Cup 2024. With this, Team India qualified for the Super 8 by defeating the host team by 7 wickets. Along with Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey, Arshdeep Singh also played an important role in giving India this victory. While Arshdeep did wonders in bowling, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dubey gave Team India a thrilling victory by putting a peg in batting. India has 6 points in 3 matches and the team has reached the Super 8 by staying on top with 6 points in Group A. The Indian team will take on Canada on June 15 in its last group match.

The Indian team (IND vs USA), which came out to chase the target set by the host US, achieved it in 18.2 overs by losing 3 wickets. Team India had a very bad start. Virat Kohli got out on the second ball of the first over. Saurabh Netravalkar did not even let him/her open the account. Saurabh got Rohit Sharma caught by Harmeet on a personal score of 3 runs. America scored 110 runs for 8 wickets
Earlier, India restricted the visitors to 110 runs for 8 wickets due to the excellent performance of the bowlers led by left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh (9/4). America completed 100 runs in the 18th over
Nitish then hit a spectacular six and a four in the straight against Hardik, while Corey Anderson (15), who has played for New Zealand, sent Akshar’s ball to the spectators. After conceding 32 runs in the last three overs, Indian captain Rohit Sharma handed the ball to Arshdeep and this bowler sent aggressive batting Nitish to the pavilion. Siraj took a brilliant catch near the boundary. Anderson hit a four against Bumrah, while Harmeet Singh (10) increased the run rate by hitting a six. Hardik gave a double blow to America by dismissing Anderson in the 17th over, while Arshdeep dismissed Harmeet in the 18th over. Rishabh Pant took the catch of both of them behind the wicket. America’s century of runs was completed in this over with a run by Shadley van Schalkwyk (11 not out). he/she contributed to taking the score to 110 runs by hitting a four against Siraj in the last over.
