From Bollywood to South, there will be a flavor of horror comedy, these films will come from ‘Stree 3’ to ‘Thama’

The year 2024 is not considered to be a good year in terms of box office, because very few films have performed well this year. Now only about one and a half months is left for the completion of the year. But till now only 7 films have entered the Rs 100 crore club. But the surprising thing is that this year has confirmed the bumper success of the horror comedy genre which has been becoming increasingly popular in the past few years. This can be gauged from the fact that this year’s highest grossing horror comedy genre film ‘Stree 2’ has become the highest grossing Hindi film till date. Another film of the horror comedy genre is ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, which has become the second highest grossing film of the year. Whereas another film of the same genre ‘Munjya’ also surprised everyone by entering the Rs 100 crore club. On the other hand, Ajay Devgan’s horror film ‘Shaitan’ also earned Rs 150 crore. That means, out of the 7 films that reached the Rs 100 crore club this year, four are of horror comedy or horror genre.
