In one such viral video, it is being claimed that Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has been beaten up. In the video shared on social media, some people are seen assaulting a person. It is being claimed that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been beaten. However, BOOM fact-checked and found that this claim is false.

In the viral video, it is not Bhagwant Mann but Amandeep Boparai, President of Yuva Jat Sabha Jammu and Kashmir. A user on Facebook Wrote while sharing the video‘Bhagwant Mann got beaten up today.’

BOOM fact checked and found that the claim being made with the viral video is false. In the video, it is not Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann but Yuva Jat Sabha President Amandeep Boparai.

The name of Instagram account was written as @NEWS_MAHARAJA_ANANDPUR_ in the viral video. Taking cue from here we went to this Instagram account where Viral video uploaded on May 4 found, ,archive link) There were no details about the video in the caption, however, two comments were found on the post which attributed the video to the President of Yuva Jat Sabha in Jammu.

After this we searched on Facebook with the help of related keywords. Here we are on the Facebook page of JK Rozana News Video uploaded on 13 April 2024 found. The footage of the viral video is visible in it. The caption of the video read, ‘Breaking Jammu – Uproar in Yuva Jat Sabha rally, Amandeep Singh Boparai attacked.’ ,archive link,
