New Delhi. On the strength of the explosive innings of Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their fourth win in the IPL by defeating Gujarat Giants at home. RCB has moved from 10th to 7th in the points table with 8 points in 11 matches. With the victory of RCB, the playoff equation of IPL 2024 has also become interesting. Till now no team has officially been out of the playoff race. RCB still has 3 more matches to play in the league stage. Gujarat Titans team collapsed for 147 runs
Earlier, due to the disciplined performance of Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers and their own mistakes, Gujarat Titans batsmen returned to the pavilion on 147 runs. Shahrukh Khan scored 37 runs
Miller tried to take Gujarat to a respectable score by scoring 30 runs in 20 balls and Shahrukh scored 37 runs in 24 balls. Both added 61 runs in 37 balls for the fourth wicket. On the score of 23, Green gave life to Miller at square leg on the ball of Karn Sharma. He hit two sixes to Karna but the same bowler got him caught by Glenn Maxwell in the deep. While trying to score a run, Shahrukh was run out on an accurate throw by Kohli. Tewatia scored 35 runs in 21 balls and Rashid scored 18 runs in 14 balls. Rashid was dismissed by Yash Dayal. Tewatiya hit three fours and a six to Karna in the 16th over.
