It is being told that these arrangements include deployment of 24×7 control room, protocol officers, and a circuit house with a capacity of 250 tents, where special guests can stay. Control Room and Protocol Arrangements
24-hour active controls have been established for VIP and VVIP during Mahakumbh. Officers and employees have also been deployed in this control room, who take care of the convenience of the experiences available here. Arrangement of circuit house and tent city
Circuit houses have been built at 5 different places for special persons in Mahakumbh. A capacity of 250 tents has been kept in these circuit houses, where VIPs and VVIPs can stay. Apart from this, a big tent city has also been built in the fair area, which has 2200 other cottages. You can book these by visiting the official site of Mahakumbh Mela.
Camp and stay arrangements for the department
As many as 36 departments of the Central and State Government have prepared camps for their officers in Mahakumbh. Cottages have also been arranged for the officers to stay in these camps. Also, the district administration has prepared a total of 314 rooms in 21 guest houses for VIPs and VVIPs.
There are also facilities of ghat and jetty.
Bathing for devotees in Mahakumbh Ghats have been prepared for the convenience. Jetties and motor boat facilities have been provided in the river at these ghats, so that devotees can easily take bath. This arrangement is especially for those devotees who spend most of their time at the ghats. Magnificent and convenient arrangements were made for VIP and VVIP in the Maha Kumbh Mela, so that all the devotees and guests could get the best experience.
How to reach Mahakumbh
By Rail:
There are several trains available from Delhi to Prayagraj, including:
Prayagraj Express (12418): Leaves New Delhi Railway Station at 10:10 pm and reaches Prayagraj Junction at 6:50 am. Travel time is approximately 8 hours 40 minutes.
Vande Bharat Express (22436): Leaves Delhi at 6:00 am and reaches Prayagraj at 12:08 pm. Travel time is approximately 6 hours 8 minutes.
By Air:
Air India has announced to run daily flights between Delhi and Prayagraj during Mahakumbh 2025:
From 1st February to 28th February 2025:
The flight will depart from Delhi at 13:00 and reach Prayagraj at 14:10.
The return flight will take off from Prayagraj at 14:50 hrs and reach Delhi at 16:00 hrs.

The distance from Delhi to Prayagraj is approximately 700 kilometers, which you can cover in approximately 11 hours via NH-19.
How to reach Mahakumbh site after reaching Prayagraj:
There are a total of 9 railway stations in Prayagraj, from which the distance to the Mahakumbh site varies:
Prayagraj Junction: Distance of the fair 11 kilometers.
Prayagraj Sangam: Distance of the fair 2.5 kilometers.
Prayag Junction: Distance of the fair 9.5 kilometers. Auto rickshaws, e-rickshaws and cabs are easily available from every railway station to reach the Mahakumbh site.
