Deliberate attacks on Hindu temple… PM Modi gave instructions to Canada for the first time in a strict tone

New Delhi: Tension and conflict between India and Canada are continuously increasing. Meanwhile, PM Modi has strongly condemned the attack on Hindu temple in Canada. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, ‘I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. The cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats are equally appalling. Such incidents of violence will never weaken India’s resolve.’ PM Modi further wrote, ‘We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and maintain the rule of law.’ PM Modi has raised his/her voice for Indians around the world. This is PM Modi’s first statement after the Canada controversy. This statement of PM Modi is very important.

The Indian government had already expressed concern over this issue to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The Ministry of External Affairs has clearly asked the Government of Canada to ensure the security of all religious places and stop such attacks. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘The central government is extremely concerned about the safety of Indian citizens in Canada. We are calling on the Government of Canada to ensure that all places of worship are protected from such attacks.

What is the matter?

The demonstration of Khalistani extremists turned violent on Sunday near the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada. They attacked the people coming to the temple. Many leaders including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau strongly condemned the violence in the temple. Trudeau said the violence at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton is unacceptable. Every Canadian has the right to freedom and protection of his/her or her belief. he/she also thanked the police, who responded immediately and ensured the safety of the community.
