New Delhi: The central government has taken a big decision to stop the increasing cyber crime across the country. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the government is going to train and prepare 5,000 ‘cyber commandos’ in the next five years to deal with cyber criminals. he/she made this announcement during his/her address at the first foundation day celebration of the ‘Indian Cyber ​​Crime Coordination Center’ (I4C). Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that cyber crime has no boundaries. Everyone has to come together to deal with this threat. Development of the country is not possible without cyber security. Along with other major initiatives in the cyber sector, this will strengthen the vision of ‘Cyber ​​Secure India’.

Who will be the cyber commandos?

To deal with cyber criminals, some special officers from states/union territories and central police organizations like CBI will be trained. After completing their training, they will be put in a special branch. From where they will work to prevent cyber crime. All these personnel will be called cyber commandos. After the arrival of these cyber commandos, it will be very helpful in preventing cyber attacks happening digitally across the country.

Cyber ​​thugs will be identified through AI

On Tuesday, Home Minister Amit Shah said that I would urge you to identify the modus operandi adopted by criminals using AI. This will help you find new ways to fight cyber crimes. he/she also gave some figures. According to which, till March 31, the number of internet users in the country was 95 crores, whereas during the same period in 2014, this number was 25 crores.

The Home Minister said that during the special campaign being launched by ‘I4C’ from Wednesday to spread awareness about cyber crimes, there is a need to popularise the National Cyber ​​Helpline telephone number ‘1930’ so that information about cyber fraud can reach the department as soon as possible.
