CUET: Centers are changing suddenly, what kind of game is this by NTA..Children are suffering ‘punishment’

But when I reached the exam, I got the news that the first day paper of CUET in Delhi has been postponed. I don’t have a mobile, so I couldn’t find out. Went back home in the evening. Now I have to come to Delhi again for the Hindi paper on Thursday. You have to go to cyber café and download the admit card every time.

Like Devesh, many students were surprised by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Delhi by postponing the paper on the first day. Many students also reached the examination centers, where they got disappointed along with the wastage of time and money.

CUET, which was launched two years ago, disappointed the students on the very first day of the third year. Just a few hours ago, NTA issued a notice to postpone the first day paper till May 29 in Delhi. Students waiting for the admit card of the entrance exam of May 15 received the news of postponement of the exam after 9:15 pm on May 14. Many students came to know early in the morning, whose parents were ready to drop them to the centres.

CUET UG Hall Ticket: Admit card not on time, website also slow

Many students complain that they are not getting the admit card on time. Isha, a student from Delhi, says that she was not informed about the location of the center till a day before the exam on May 15. It was told that this information would be given by 8 pm on 14th May, but the exam itself was postponed.

Information about the center should be given at least three days in advance. So that arrangements for travel to and from remote centers can also be made. This system of NTA is incomprehensible. It is difficult to study under the stress of admit card and exam centre. Even for Tuesday’s paper, many students kept waiting for the admit card till late evening.

Student Atul Sharma says, there was talk of releasing the admit card for the paper of 16th to 18th May at 7 pm on 15th May. Meanwhile the website remained slow many times. If the admit card is received so late in the night, when will the students go to the cyber café to take the printout? CUET schedule has been out for a long time, and everyone knows that elections will be held at this time. So why were arrangements not made accordingly?

Saloni, who lives in Rohini, got the exam center Nithari. She says, first I found the center in Nithari for May 15 and a day later it changed itself to Rohini. But in the end the exam itself got cancelled. No mail or message or call came from NTA.

Anu, a student living in Patel Nagar, says – The paper was scheduled from 15th to 29th May, that too a few hours before. NTA should correct its system. Our seniors also faced the same last year. Even when it started, this problem occurred.

CUET UG: Centers available 150 km away

NTA says that efforts have been made to provide centers closer to home to as many students as possible. But many students say that they have found centers far away. Students are also getting centers at a distance of 30 to 150 kilometers, while they have filled the nearby centres. A student from East Delhi tells that she has got a center in Poonth art. Another student complains that his center was changed once and then he was given JNU from Rohini.
