It is also said that Paro’s house was made of stained glass and 1.2 lakh pieces of stained glass were used to make this house and it cost around Rs 3 crore to build it.
Madhuri wore a Ghagra weighing around 30 kilos
In this film ‘Devdas’, a lot of attention was paid to the costumes of every character. Madhuri’s dresses in the film were designed by Sandeep Khosla. It is said that in the song ‘Kahe Chhed Chhed Mohe’, Madhuri wore a Ghagra weighing about 30 kgs which was later replaced by a Ghagra weighing 16 kgs.

While clothes for Aishwarya i.e. Paro were designed by Neeta Lulla. According to reports, Neeta and Sanjay Leela Bhansali themselves bought 600 saris from Kolkata and different saris were mixed. The style of wearing these saris was also created by Neeta and it took about 3 hours every day to get Paro ready.

Paro and Chandramukhi looked the best in the song ‘Dola Re Dola’ of the film. It is said that one line of this song was changed by Nusrat Badr in the final mixing stage and a lot of money was invested on the song.
