Both these states have been successful in achieving 75 percent of their target. Despite ranking first, Uttar Pradesh has been able to achieve only about 65 percent of its target. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the popular face of BJP in the Northeast, ensured enrollment of 50 lakh members against the target of 65 lakh.

Whereas, among smaller states, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh have exceeded the expectations. Of these, Himachal Pradesh is the only Congress-ruled state where early signs of anti-incumbency are visible.
