‘Being a Bengali, I cannot walk with my head held high’, said Mithun Chakraborty on Kolkata rape case

The Kolkata rape-murder case has shaken everyone. People across the country are angry over this brutal incident. While people in every corner of the country are expressing their anger against this incident, many film stars are also continuously expressing their anger. From children to old people, everyone is protesting fiercely against this incident. Everyone is raising their voice for justice for the victim. Bollywood actor Mithun has demanded an immediate verdict on this incident.

The Kolkata rape-murder case has shaken the entire country. This incident is being compared to the Nirbhaya case of Delhi and Mithun Chakraborty has also raised his/her voice against this shameful act. he/she strongly condemned this incident and said that he/she is ashamed to even call himself a Bengali.

“Being a Bengali, I cannot walk with my head held high”

Mithun has also demanded an immediate decision on this matter. The actor called this incident extremely disgusting. he/she said, ‘I have said many times at many places that the situation in West Bengal will be very terrible in the coming days, being a Bengali I cannot walk with my head held high.’

‘People involved in the incident should be punished as soon as possible’

Mithun further said, ‘My condolences are with the family of the deceased doctor. Those involved in this incident should be punished as soon as possible, this is my only wish.’ Let us tell you that Mithun is associated with BJP and is also a former Rajya Sabha MP. he/she raised questions on the law and order of the state.

‘Doctors coming out on the streets is not the best thing’

Shatrughan Sinha also expressed concern over this incident and wrote on Twitter, ‘Doctors coming out on the streets is not the best thing. The government and society should take care of the demands put forth by the doctors, but a humble request to those doctors who have come out on the streets is that this can harm those poor, needy people who need immediate care, this can make them suffer more.’
