Batsmen who completed a century by hitting 6 runs in all three formats, one is the ‘Sixer King’

New Delhi. Every batsman in international cricket has the desire to score a century. When they are very close to scoring a century, most batsmen do not like to take risks and try to reach the 100-run mark by taking singles or doubles. On the contrary, there are some batsmen who want to complete the century as soon as possible after reaching it and do not even shy away from hitting sky-high shots for this. The most prominent name in this is India’s explosive opener Virender Sehwag. When Sehwag scored a triple century against Pakistan in Multan, he/she completed the 100-run, 200-run and 300-run mark by hitting a six. In ODIs too, he/she has completed a century by hitting a six on a few occasions.

Apart from Sehwag’s achievement, there are three batsmen from India who have completed a century by hitting a six in all three formats of international cricket. This achievement is registered in the name of current captain of Team India Rohit Sharma, stylish batsman KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. They have celebrated a century by hitting a six in all three formats – Test, ODI and T20I.
