Babar made a world record in T20I, even Kohli could not do it

New Delhi. Pakistan defeated Ireland by 6 wickets in the third and final T20 match and won the 3-match series 2-1. Pakistani captain Babar Azam played the captaincy innings in the match played in Dublin. Babar made a record in his name in T20 International cricket which even Virat Kohli could not make. Right-handed batsman Babar looked in rhythm in this match. He hit 4 sixes in one over. Babar hit 3 consecutive sixes in the 14th over. As soon as he scored his half-century, he created a world record in his name. Babar scored fifty plus for the 39th time which is a world record in T20 International cricket.

Ireland had given a target of 179 runs to Pakistan (IRE vs PAK). Pakistan team won the match by scoring 181 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 17 overs. Babar Azam played an inning of 75 runs in 42 balls which included 6 fours and 5 sixes. Wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan played an inning of 56 runs in 38 balls. This was Babar’s 39th half-century in T20 International cricket. Earlier, Virat Kohli had scored the highest score of 38 fifty plus, which is now in the name of Babar Azam. After Babar and Virat, Rohit Sharma is third in this list who has done this feat 34 times. Mohammad Rizwan has achieved this feat 29 times while David Warner has achieved this feat 27 times.

Babar Azam and Rizwan made record partnership
In the third T20 against Ireland, Pakistan got its first blow on the score of 16. Young opener Sam Ayub returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs. After this Rizwan got the support of captain Babar Azam. Both of them made a record partnership of 139 runs for the second wicket. Both have added 3095 runs in T20 International cricket. This is the first pair in the world which has made a partnership of more than 3000 runs in T20 International cricket. Babar and Rizwan have made century partnerships 10 times in T20.

Pakistan vs England T20 series from 22 May
Now a series of T20 matches will be played between Pakistan and England. The first T20 match of the 4-match series will be played on 22 May. This is an important series for both the teams before the T20 World Cup. After this both the teams will participate in the T20 World Cup. Pakistan has not yet announced the team for the T20 World Cup.
