According to IGI Airport Police Deputy Commissioner Usha Ranganani, the arrested accused has been identified as Ravinder Singh. He is originally a resident of Khasan village under Bholath police station area of ​​Kapurthala. He was being searched in a fake case in Germany.

What is the whole matter?
DCP Usha Ranganani told that 12 years ago a person named Vikramjit Singh, a native of Amritsar, was deported from Germany. After reaching IGI Airport, Vikramjit Singh was taken into custody. During the investigation, Immigration Bureau officials became suspicious about the visa on his passport.

On the basis of suspicion the passport was sent to the German Embassy for examination. The reply from where it was revealed that the visa in Vikramjit Singh’s passport is fake. After which, the Immigration Bureau handed over the accused Vikramjit Singh to the IGI Airport Police for further action.

DCP Usha Ranganani said that on the complaint of the Immigration Bureau, the IGI Airport Police registered an FIR against the accused Vikramjit Singh under sections 420, 468, 471 of the IPC and section 12 of the Passport Act and arrested him. During interrogation, Vikramjit Singh made many important revelations.

Accused Vikramjeet told the police that his friend had introduced him to an agent named Ravinder Singh. Agent Ravinder Singh had promised him a visa to Germany and a job there in exchange of Rs 2 lakh. After taking two lakh rupees from him, Ravinder put a fake visa of Germany in his passport.

How did the arrest happen?
Vikramjeet told in his confession that because of this fake visa, he was not only deported from Germany but was also arrested at IGI Airport. Based on Vikramjeet’s disclosure, the airport police conducted a raid, but by then Ravinder Kumar had managed to escape.
