ETS TOEFL Scholarship for Indians: Scholarships prove to be very helpful for studying abroad, because they reduce the financial burden to a great extent. In this series, The Education Testing Service-TOEFL in collaboration with ‘National Indian Student and Alumni Union’ (NISAU) has announced scholarships for Indians. The name of the scholarship launched for Indian students is ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’.
This scholarship will be given on the basis of TOEFL score of Indian students. Altogether 10 students will be given scholarship. Each candidate selected for the scholarship will be given Rs 2.5 lakh. The total amount of scholarship is Rs 25 lakh. ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’ will be given to Indian students who want to study undergraduate or postgraduate courses in a UK university. In this way, Indian students have a golden opportunity to study in Britain.

What is the eligibility criteria for scholarship?

According to the official website of IDP, to get ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’, students will have to fulfill certain conditions. First of all, the applicant must have a minimum score of 75 out of 150 in the TOEFL exam. Secondly, it is necessary for the applicant to be selected to study at Warwick University, UK. This scholarship is for courses starting from Autumn/Fall intake of 2024.

Students who will be awarded this scholarship will have to become TOEFL Student Ambassadors during their studies. This means that you will have to tell people about TOEFL, attend their events, write blogs, make videos to share your experiences, and meet students from other countries.

How to apply for scholarship?

Agility Check: After providing ETS ID, students who have 75 or more marks will have to provide their 12th and graduation mark sheets. They will also have to write an essay of 500 words, the topic of which is “Creating a Social Impact with a UK-based Education.” In this essay you will have to tell what you will do for the society by studying in England. Apart from this, you will also have to give information about your achievements.

Evaluation Process: The submitted essays and all personal and academic details will be checked to ensure that they comply with the eligibility criteria.

Selection Notification: 10 students will be selected through ETS India, information about which will be available to them.

This scholarship will help you meet the expenses of your studies. With this you will be able to cover your tuition fees, books, accommodation and traveling expenses. Selection for the scholarships will be made by a committee of representatives from NISAU and the University of Warwick.
