New Delhi. India defeated South Africa in the last over in the third T20 match. Team India defeated the hosts by 11 runs and took a 2-1 lead in the 4-match series. South Africa needed 25 runs in the last over to win. Captain Suryakumar Yadav expressed confidence in fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, who conceded 13 runs in the last over of the match and gave victory to India by dismissing Marco Jansen. When Yansen was batting, it seemed that the match might slip out of India’s hands but Arshdeep turned the match around by bowling brilliantly in the last over. he/she gave Team India a memorable victory which will be remembered for a long time.

On the first ball of the last over of the match, Gerald Coetzee completed a run by running a leg bye to Arshdeep Singh. Marco Yansen hit a six on the second ball. With this, Yansen also completed his/her fifty. Yansen scored a fifty in 16 balls. This was the second fastest half-century from South Africa in T20. After this, Arshdeep gave a big success to India by getting Yansen out LBW on the third ball. Similane hit a four on the fourth ball. Similane scored one run on the fifth ball and gave the strike to Gerald Coetzee. Coetzee scored only one run on the last ball.

The fourth and last match will be played on Friday. For South Africa, Klaasen scored 41 runs in 22 balls. South African team could score only 208 runs for 7 wickets.

Ricky Rickelton (20) failed once again. Reeza Hendricks (21) was also dismissed by Varun Chakraborty. South African captain Aiden Markram (29) lost his/her wicket while trying to play a shot on the ball going outside the off stump. Whereas Tristan Stubbs was dismissed by Akshar Patel. Klaasen hit Chakraborty for three sixes. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya got David Miller (18) caught by Akshar. Earlier in the Indian innings, Tilak got excellent support from Abhishek Verma who played an aggressive inning of 50 runs.

22 year old Tilak Verma hit seven sixes and eight fours in his/her unbeaten inning of 107 runs. With the help of his/her innings, India made the second highest score in the T20 format against South Africa. Abhishek, recovering from poor form, scored 50 runs in 25 balls with the help of five sixes and three fours. Tilak played with full confidence and made strokes all around the field. he/she added 107 runs with Abhishek for the second wicket. Earlier, Sanju Samson was out without opening the account.

Keshav Maharaj controlled the run rate in the middle overs but Tilak gave India a big score by scoring 52 runs in 22 balls in the last six overs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav (1), Hardik Pandya (18) and Rinku Singh (8) failed. The Indian team cannot lose the series from here now. She would like to end the series with a bang by winning the fourth and last T20.
