New Delhi. Team India’s finisher Rinku Singh is performing brilliantly in the UP T20 League. Rinku, who is captaining Meerut Mavericks, gave a match-winning performance not with the bat but with the ball in the match against Kanpur Superstars. he/she broke the back of the opposition team by taking three wickets in one over. Meerut Mavericks team won this rain-affected match by 22 runs and made it to the semi-finals. Meerut has entered the last four by winning six out of seven matches in this match and staying on top of the point table with 12 points. Whereas Kanpur Superstars team is virtually out of the semi-final race.

In the rain affected match, Meerut Mavericks team could bat for only 9 overs. They scored 90 runs for 3 wickets in 9 overs. For them, Madhav Kaushik played an innings of 52 runs with the help of five fours and four sixes in 26 balls while Ruturaj Sharma was out after scoring 18 runs. Rinku Singh did not get a chance to open his/her hands in batting. he/she returned unbeaten after scoring one run on one ball. With this victory, Meerut team remains on top while Kanpur Superstars team is at number five in the table.
