According to Zeenat Aman, she and her children used to request Mazhar Khan not to consume so much drugs and painkillers, but he/she was not ready to agree. The result was that Mazhar Khan’s kidneys started failing and then the actress decided to leave him/her.

But when Zeenat Aman left Mazhar, her in-laws punished her severely. The actress had claimed that her in-laws instigated the children against her. Not only this, after the death of her husband, her in-laws did not even allow Zeenat Aman to take their property. Even after the death of Mazhar Khan, he/she was not allowed to attend his/her funeral.

Mazhar Khan had an extra-marital affair

Zeenat Aman had told, ‘he/she wanted to punish me for leaving Mazhar Khan.’ Mazhar Khan died in the year 1998.
